Alyce’s courses, supervision and mentoring programs have supported hundreds of therapists in becoming more comfortable and confident in working as a Paediatric OT.

Alyce is an experienced paediatric Occupational Therapist who has completed extensive training across many modalities including DIR Floortime, COOP, Psychotherapy, Motor interventions, Coaching interventions and many more. She believes in holistic, family centered and neurodiversity affirming approaches.

This Clinical Supervision Program has been developed based on 7 years of supervising a variety of therapists from early career all the way through to very experienced therapists. It’s designed to meet your individual needs and goals.

If you’ve got a question, then we’ve got the answers!

Can we help you with a question you may have? These are some of the most asked questions we get from our clients.

  • That is fine! We will have a discussion and if together we feel this service/model is not a good fit, the program will be cancelled and any additional paid monies will be reimbursed.

  • Therapists working in a therapy service who are wanting to increase their clinical reasoning, confidence and professional identity.

  • Best practice to support new graduates is weekly supervision with easy access to ad hoc support. As an external service, I am not accessible enough for a new graduate in their early learning phase. It is important they have access to support within their team to address other areas of professional development including; performance as an employee, performance as a professional, support having difficult conversations with families etc

  • All supervision participants will complete an initial questionnaire and discussion surrounding their learning styles, feedback preferences, and overall professional competence. Together a program will be developed that meets the needs of the participant. Typically the supervisee will complete a planning tool and send this to the supervisor prior to the session, allowing the Supervisor to ensure the session meets the needs of the participant. Regular evaluation is completed.

  • All attempts will be made to rebook the session. However, if this is not possible and more than 48 hours notice is not given – a non attendance session will be billed.

  • At times Alyce will be away presenting courses/trainings or on leave. All attempts will be made to reschedule the session or an additional session will be added to the end of the year.

  • School holidays are a great time to have a break from your regular caseload. Reflect on the learning on the previous term and Put new strategies in place to support your caseload. The holiday break will give you some extra time to complete these tasks.

  • Alyce is heavily booked and only has limited availability for this program. All attempts will be made to facilitate a time change.
